Ivančica d.d. Supports Young Creativity: Sneakers Designed by Five-Year-Old Marta

In June this year, the Varaždin Tourist Board hosted the 9th Festival of Courtyards, featuring a range of attractions including the creative workshop „Moja skica-moja najcool tenisica“ led by senior lecturer Suzana Kutnjak-Mravlinčić from the Textile Technology Faculty of the University of Zagreb.

Five-year-old Marta Petrović from Zagreb was awarded for her most creative sketch, and Ivančica d.d. was thrilled to bring her design to life. The sneakers were crafted in vibrant colors that perfectly capture Marta's original sketch – a true burst of color and fashion.

The unveiling and presentation of the sneakers took place on September 5th at the City of Varaždin Tourist Board. In addition to Director Jelena Toth, the event was attended by Smiljana Mlakar, Head of Destination Product Development, Anica Hursa Šajatović, Dean of the Textile Technology Faculty of the University of Zagreb, Bosiljka Šaravanja, Vice Dean for Business Affairs, Ivana Špelić, Vice Dean for Research and Artistic Work, and Senior Lecturer Suzana Kutnjak-Mravlinčić.

Representatives from Ivančica d.d. included Marketing Director Irena Delmonego, Production Director Ivana Martinko, and Product Manager Ariana Pomper.

This project not only gave young talents a chance to showcase their creativity but also celebrated Ivančica d.d.’s ongoing commitment to innovation and supporting young designers, fittingly marking 25 years of our Froddo journey.
